PERSONALITY BIOGRAPHY
Devin Vertigo is the creator, maintainer, and upholder of all things Vertigo. He began his work as a podcaster and new media creator in the winter of 2003. He, along with Tom Vertigo, decided to post a talk show on a geocities website back in the day, and it's grown from there. Whether he was running a ShoutCast server from his childhood home in 2004, or broadcasting live for fans on 100.1 WUMF, Devin Vertigo has been 'cutting his teeth' on media since before Podcasting and new media have been popular. He is self-taught and self-maintained and tries to deliver the best content he can each and every day that he is a part of Vertigo Media Network. He remains grateful to his staff, his influences, and his friends and family for all the support they have given him over the years. Fame is no thing, he just enjoys being another outlet for fans of media to enjoy. He hosts Vertigo Radio Live alongside Tom Vertigo, The Amazing Ty, and Big Bad Bucky, every Sunday!
Devin is a fan of audio novels, which has lead to him posing "Audio Novel of The Week" on the website. Additionally, he enjoys industrial music and goth culture, and has been known to enjoy a good Gin and Tonic from time to time. He was once a writer, and may soon pick up the hobby again. He is currently the producer of Vertigo Media Network's "Vertigo Radio Live" which can be found on MeVIO as well as at this website. He holds dear the idea of Open-Source software and Open-Source information. He believes that information should be available to all, and that if you can learn a skill, you should be able to do so (within limits) for free. He is a strong advocate of free speech and freedom of the press, and this colors many of his opinions. He declines a political affiliation, as many issues are context-dependent for him. He worked in the IT profession to a small degree for many years, his last day coming up in May of 2010. His knowledge (and love) of technology stems from his early life, where he was dependant on it for his writing. He finds the simplest things in life are the best.

OTHER INFO
YEARS ACTIVE: I have been active with VMN since its induction to the world many, many years ago.
FAVORITE MOMENT: I would have to say one of my all time favorite moments was the Uncle Shredder bit. The sheer fact that his name was Phillip Banks is insane!
SIDE PROJECTS: I make music on the side for my own enjoyment as well as have been working on graphic arts.
INFLUENCES: Originally I had no idea about talk radio but I would certainly have to say at least a favorite is The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show. I really enjoy the pace of their show and the way they carry themselves on air.
MUSICAL TASTE: My musical tastes vary widely and are not exactly containable to one generic grouping. Some days I will want classical, some days its 80's rock, sometimes its 90's rock sometimes its metal and sometimes its country (classic country though, not a huge fan of the new stuff). Over all I enjoy any music that was made with love, talent and effort.
PERSONALITY BIOGRAPHY
To be honest, I couldn’t tell you about my personality. I have been told I am a caring, kind and all around nice guy and I have been told I am a total ass who is of no good to man kind. However; If I were to sum myself up in my own words I would simply say that I am nice to those who deserve it and not so nice to those who don’t. I care about people who care about others and loathe people who don’t have a care in the world about others.

YEARS ACTIVE: 1.5
FAVORITE MOMENT: Favorite segment was the moon rant. Overall, the constant stream of conversation we're able to pull out of our asses week in and week out.
SIDE PROJECTS: My own Airband (KNIGHTS OF CAMELOT 2), Cloning, and a movie script. Oh yea, and WUMF.
INFLUENCES: The Universalist Church of Bruce Willis. Got me through some dark days.
MUSICAL TASTE: Alternative/Indie/Rock with some R&B/Electronic/Classical mixed in for flavor.
PERSONALITY BIOGRAPHY
Found amongst the reeds by a river when he was just a babe, a young Big Bad Bucky began his walk down the road known as life. Then some shit happened and he's now in college. Wanting to get into the radio scene early, he had a multitude of shows that went no where, but gave him a tome of experience in the world of radio. He combined this knowledge with an opportunity provided by Devin in early 2009, when he offered me a spot within the Vertigo Media Network while I was still hosting my campus show. Since then, Devin and I have become firm friends and he has graciously allowed me to periodically co-host Vertigo Radio Live in hopes of spreading his message to his ever expanding world wide audience Big Bad Bucky, still remaining an active member in the college radio station, is constantly on the look out for new music for Vertigo Radio Live and will continue to help Devin and the rest of the Vertigo Media Network for as long as he is able. Everyone who is already a fan should keep listening and should grab a friend, show off the archive section of the site, and get them caught up with one of the best podcasts on the web!

THE AMAZING TY

POSITIONS
OTHER INFO
YEARS ACTIVE: 5
FAVORITE MOMENT: There are too many to actually pick one, The Austrian hooker was pretty great.
SIDE PROJECTS: Improve comedic things, General dicking around and figuring out what the hell to do with my life.
INFLUENCES: Bill Murray, the king of dead pan.
MUSICAL TASTE: Varying from time to time. Mostly alternative rock, classic rock, anything that isn't pop music. Pop music is evil and has no soul.
PERSONALITY BIOGRAPHY
Ty was born in the great year of 1986, the same year that gave us such other great events as Joaquín Balaguers PRSC winning Dominican Republic parliamentary election. Ty spent his youth running around and frolicking in the lands of central Maine. He discovered Playboys at the ripe tender age of ... when ever he was in the second grade. This is believed to be the rout cause of Ty's... well,,, Ty. Ty joined the Vertigo Radio Family in the fall of 2005 when Vertigo was still brodcasting over a Shoutcast server. He has seen Vertigo travel from that form to the WUMF when the show had Devin, Ty and The Professor from the box. During this time Vertigo had its first ever musical guest, Peeing By Sonar, Skeetbusters was invented, and Bohemian Rhapsody was sang live (and rather horribly).
Since then Ty has seen The coming of Big Bad Bucky, a very promising host, and has seen Devin reunite with Tom for shows on a regular basis. Things look more promising than ever for the Vertigo Radio Family and Ty has been very glad to have been a part of this for as long as he has. Hopefully there will be many more shows.
